- Joined the company as a Regional Operations Manager, a position he held from 2015-2017. Yash on-boarded and provided strategic training and support to over 20 General Managers at various properties.
- Yash graduated from the University of California Irvine, with a degree in Political Science and holds a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation from AH&LA Educations Insitute.
- Yash currently serves as an AAHOA Ambassador for the US South Pacific Region.
Yash Patel is a second-generation hotelier with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He started his career in the hotel industry at the age of 16, working part-time as a front desk agent at an independent motel in the Inland Empire. After graduating high school, he went to the University of California, Irvine to pursue his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Constitutional Law. Yash’s keen interest in traveling to new places and passion for pursuing an interconnected world brought him back to the world of hospitality after college.
Yash joined the Lighthouse Award Winning Hampton Inn Norco in 2011 working various progressive positions and ultimately culminating in his promotion to General Manager in 2013. He led his team to earn 2 consecutive Circle of Excellence Awards recognizing the top 10% of Hampton Inn Hotels while increasing year over year revenues by at least 5% annually.
Yash joined Fine Hospitality in 2015 as a Regional Operations Manager, a position held until he was promoted to Director of Sales and Revenue in 2017. From the beginning, Yash immersed himself in all operational aspects of the brands operated by Fine Hospitality and provided strategic training and support to 25 general managers at hotels within our portfolio. As Director of Sales and Revenue, Yash successfully directs the formulation and implementation of sales, marketing, and revenue systems and strategies across Fine Hospitality’s managed hotels. Leading a team of 2 Revenue Managers and 1 IT Specialist, he pursues innovation and creates tools to improve business processes. Driven to succeed, Yash continually achieves profitable growth of the company’s $45+ million gross annual revenue per year while beating the competition in RevPAR Growth Index (RGI).
Yash holds the prestigious Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation from AH&LA Educational Institute that recognizes leadership and managerial skills. He currently serves as an AAHOA Ambassador for the South Pacific Region and is actively engaged in promoting and protecting the interests of hoteliers across the nation at the local and federal levels of government.
